Hello, I am as Mad as a Badger, hence the user name.
Am I to understand that this site is for the purpose of re-wilding our lands?
Will Badgers be protected, asking for a friend

Rewilding, according to the OED, is a 90s invention. "transitive verb: To return (land) to a wilder and more natural state."
I'm not sure whether that's what the Wildlife Trusts do. I know too little about them so far. My impression, from one conversation with a Wildlife Trusts Fundraiser called Martin, is that the Wildlife Trusts buy parcels of rural land to save them from development. They also seem to attract lots of members onto the land they've acquired.
They also lobby. I'm hoping to discover what they lobby in favour of.
All the badgers that live on land they've acquired are immunized against TB, according to Martin. I've no idea whether that makes them any safer from farmers who own cattle.
